Questions to sir, the poet.

Sir

by; Izzati Idrus

Sir,

If I may ask,

What is this?

This my lad;

Is a poem.

Sir,

My mind is wondering,

The person who wrote it?

Is it not obvious, my lad;

He is myself.

Sir,

Excuse my curiosity,

Where did you get the idea?

The place, my lad;

Is none other than here.

Sir,

Forgive me for asking,

As to when you are going to finish it?

If it is possible, my lad;

May it be today.

Sir,

One last question for you;

Why is this poem unrhymed?

It is because, my lad;

You’re doing a great job,

In spoiling it for me,

Thank you.

How darling! This is certainly unique, I liked the way it resembled a conversation of sorts, yet had, undeniably, a quirky little rhyme of it's own! Great write!
