Snow Flowers

Snow Flowers

A Poem by Erin Was Here.

Silken petals;

A rainbow

Strewn across

White

Soft ground.

Forsaken in the road

Unwanted,

Yet vibrantly glowing

Ice spears

Fall from the sky

Drifting

          Meandering

Wafting

And

Mingling with

The shattered satin rainbow.

Crystals soften, and

Humble themselves

Into drops;

Teardrops—

Crying for the

Last of the rainbow flowers,

Yet captivated with

Their metamorphosis

Into

Snow flowers.

Oh, wow, Erin, this is something. A beautiful piece that is as good -- or even better -- than a painting. Pulls the beauty of the snow flowers up and through the paper. Wonderful and mystical. I love the vertical, dancing format in your work. Quality!

This is a beautiful piece. Such vivid imagery give the flowers an almost godlike quality. Really nice.
