INSANITY

INSANITY

A Poem by Thokchom Imosana
"

Swing of mood

"

Shall I slit my throat

With this sword in my hands?

Or  shall it send deep into,

To remove my small heart pulsating miserably?

Courage, strength all gone;

My limbs are amputated,

Only  arms here I have now.

My throat is choked,

And around my waist

Tie with this rope.

O! the day,

The valour of my time

My colour to its shine,

The sweetness with the dignity:

They sing , they honour.

Ah! this time,

Only my mortal remain;

Withered, dried  flung in the shadow.
