Good company

Good company

A Poem by Inda

Good Company

On our own

For too long,

I can’t recall

The last time you smiled.

All you do is shout,

All I do is hide;

All we do is fight.

Late at night

I wonder if

You still care

About me

Or am I just

 Good company?

Very poignant- I like your use of pronouns. our-> I -> you -> we. I like the shift- it shows that the experience is shared and that there is brokeness on both sides.
