Beware

Beware

Beware

I follow you

And you run further away,

Later you search for me

And I hide.

It’s a never ending game.

I offer you a kiss,

You negate it.

You offer me your hand

And I shove you aside.

You say there’s a danger nearby

I tell you to beware

and you say goodbye.

I like the back and forth banter in this piece. The offering and then the withdraw. I enjoyed it, even with it's simplicity. We all do tend to play games at times!
