Regret

Regret

A Poem by Inda
"

Some rambling.

Regret

With time all words are wise,

Fire burns the wood and

Causes the flames to rise.

Life changes-it’s out of your hand.

Photographs capture a moment

Everyone forgets.

Hate: love begets.

And yet we lament.

Immortals- those we’ve forgiven.

Their sins no one ever recalls.

Wildly the soul tonight is driven,

But it cannot escape these walls.

I am trapped inside these walls of abstraction.

Embedded in cement,

Unquestionable the attraction

That causes the heart to repent.
