Walking around in a haze
Stuck in the day to day.
Lovers lie,
Soldiers die
And children cry.
I keep searching for my muse,
Pain I can use,
Words you cannot refuse.
Hope keeps playing it's tune,
Love's hinting it's return,
Happiness come to us one by one, so I wait my turn.

I think this is one of my new favorites of yours.. This is something I can relate to on so many levels.. I love the rhyming, the flow, and the sentiment... "I keep searching for my muse, pain I can use, words you cannot refuse..." love this... felt like mine has left me recently.. my heart weighed down, just waiting for that hint of return... that lie to be erased from my heart.. that haze to be cleared from my mind... amazing writing as always my friend... love it:)
