Everybody's Fool..

Everybody's Fool..

A Poem by Secondhand Tink
"

Yeah title stole from Evanescence lol it's just about feeling really stupid for trusting...

"

I thought you’d always be there,
I thought you’d always care,
You lied when you said ‘I won’t leave’,
I can’t believe I was so naive.
I trusted you beyond belief,
But now it seems your friendly love was too brief.

A real friend I’ll always consider you to be,
But it hurts so much you not being here for me,
You must know I don’t want us to part,
You must know we were best friends from the start,
So you should know this is breaking my heart.
I didn’t leave enough of an impression,
I suppose this is my sad little confession...

I love him and so I know we can’t be,
You love her and so I know we’re not free,
But I was given just a shred of hope,
And it disappeared faster than lovers elope...
Mais bon chance avec ton vie,
This life was not meant for you and me.

I like it!
Nicely written, flows smoothly, with good use of rhyme.
I like poetry which rhymes, though I'm beginning to enjoy
the other kinds as well.
This one is very good.
