Death of a world

Death of a world

A Poem by Anthony Garcia

It's been already ten full days

Since the meteors collided with my earth

Ten full days since normal life ended

Now living with radiation poisoning

And a general fear of what is to come

I cannot help but wish the meteors back into space

To rid the remanence from this now awful place

Nothing can ever be the same

And I'll never speak to you again

The meteor I created has crushed the bond we shared

I miss the way things were

More than you will ever know

To take it back, to take it slow

Ten days ago, oasis

Today, its hell
