And doing wrong wasn’t a causal act

I’m not sure if right and wrong are always so easily distinguished, Mary. It ought to be clear, but it seems the more we explore the multiplicities of this world, the more the distinction seems to get lost in inveterate shades of gray.

Troubling poem here, Mary, and I do sympathize. I hope your writing it brought some relief.
