Ignorance

The worst kind of arrogance is arrogance from ignorance.

An addled mind wanders

Lost in his own world of ignorance

Sadly, it’s the only state he knows

 

How can one reach their senior years

And know so very little about so many things  

Ignorance isn’t bliss because he’s not a happy man

 

His ignorance, like his hubris, has no limits

It’s sad to witness his daily decline 

Posturing on the world stage, unaware of the pathic he is
