My companion, my prisoner

My companion, my prisoner

A Poem by isiah_holmes

The preacher says attack her
The preacher wants her "helped her along"
Maybe i'll untie her
Maybe she would like a song
I asked if i could see her
He told me to go back where im from

Look to me, set her free
Trapped inside, sirens sing
Happy to have met you dont go away
This is what, i can not say

My father said deny her
Maybe i will leave-alone
My mother said untie her
Release the things that you have caught

Look to me, set her free
Trapped inside, sirens sing
Happy to have met you dont go away
This is what i can not say
Got a room, move right in
In this place, lost in sin
Happy to have met you dont go away
This is what-I have to say
