Space fairing teenager

Space fairing teenager

A Poem by isiah_holmes

I walked through the moon, friendly
I've walked through the mind
I've set fire to your cruel old world and
Laughed as you scrambled for sight
I looked around to chart the sun and search for a moon dial
Traversed through half this wading place locked up like some old file
I took a peek, looked inside and
Guess what i could not find
Sliding down, spinning through true waves from the sea
Stepped on outside my comfort zone to watch my friends all see
Crumpled up, stuck inside a envelope of fame
Cause when i fall back down to earth i'll
Crawl past a place of shame

Wow I really connected with this. I love the line "Stepped on outside my comfort zone to watch my friends all see Crumpled up, stuck inside a envelope of fame". They really resonated with me!
