Thunder sound

Thunder sound

A Poem by isiah_holmes

I know of a man who's face is clouded in fear
And your skin crawls when he comes near
His skin is grey and cold like calloused stone
And his spit can pierce through human bone

That man said crack, bang
Boom boom pow
Everybody in the room knew to get down

He stood on by, guarding the endless street
He takes pride in nipping at running feet
Young soldiers crave his quickened voice
And i'm sure that was not truly their choice

He looked over and said Bang, snap
Boom boom pow
Laugh as boys run from thunder sound

The trigger guard craves a grip
Waiting for infinite attention to slip
Quickly dip back to the block on which you live
Quickly claim this gift your city has to give

And then he said crack, bang
Boom boom pow
Everybody in the room knew to get down
He said crack, bang
Boom boom pow
Everyone runs from thunder sound
Crack, bang, boom boom pound
Dip and hide from thunder sound
Boom, bang, boom boom pound
I know you know of thunder sound
