Basement-Den nights spent

Basement-Den nights spent

A Poem by isiah_holmes

As i search, this is what i find
Best friends do their worst to hide
Lurking through my basement wall's
Shooting through a blissless call
Something seems to bother me
Something needs to be set free

Crawl inside, we walk right in
Settle as the night begins
Familiar faces gather around
Drown in by a rhythmic sound
Bleeding eyes continue to see, this is how your night will be!
Inside! Inside!

Never before have you felt shame
Never before have you known fame
Samely crying in a well
Cruelly denying me food to sell
Stomachs twist in knots inside
Searching for manikins to march beside!
