You, by Me

You, by Me

A Poem by Jules
"

Little bit of rancor here, as you shall see...

"

how you must see me
i cannot imagine
your mind seems as deep as a sieve

you're rigid
with terror
at how things appear
on surfaces, that's where you live

you project a bravery
brash, bold and centered
but i see the fear in the glass

reflected back at you
and over to me
you regiment what you will give

if you could go deeper
face up to the ugly
embrace it, accept who you are

acknowledge, encompass that we are all damaged
you judgement i then could forgive
