Without A Net

Without A Net

A Poem by Katie Snyder
"

a song that i wrote that was influenced by dance today (this is what i feel as from hopefully a guy's point of view. or girl but i think its really more of a guys)

"

I watch you stumble,

You're bound for the ground

I see the anguish on your face

But yet you don't make a sound

I wanna run to you

But I'm frozen in Place

Guilt and love combined to one

Because of your beautiful face

And I, wasn't there, to catch, you, fall

And I, who, gave you some, but to me you gave it all

I watch you Crash and Burn. Will, I learn?
That you're the only one for me.. and yet...

I somehow walk away...

Leaving you without a net

Without a net.. (X2)

My breath is caught

My breathing quickens

My heart...is... shot

Your hands go outs instinctively

To weaken the blow

But now I'm miserable

Because I already know

I, wasn't there, to catch, you, fall

And I know, that you've, been waiting for me to call

I watch you break apart. I broke your heart. How can I live?

Knowing that you're the only one for me.. and yet...

I am Leaving you without a net

Woah... Woah...

A sudden image of your beautiful head

Hitting rock cold concrete slate

But by the time I react

It's too late..........

And I, wasn't there, to catch, you, fall

I cry out for you, but you're already gone

I watched you live for me. Love me.
You were the only one for me.. and yet...

I Left you without a net
