Armageddon

Armageddon

A Poem by Ivor

Armageddon

When Angels fall and Devils fly,
what fun there'll be in all the sky,
as Angels struggle in the dirt
with dusty shrouds and wings that hurt.

The sky will shine with Satan's fire,
with Mankind raised to places higher,
while God's disciples crawl on Earth
to give the new Almighty mirth.

Come join our throng, enjoy the fight,
Mankind's direction is in sight.
A little bloodshed will not hurt
as with eternal power we flirt.

Well Ivor...we already KNOW that good triumphs over evil every time!!
We just like to lull the devil into a false sense of security...he's such a smug little devil...but don't worry...I'll put in a good word for you to the powers that be.

Look forward to reading more of you here.

Funny little bit of commentary here, Ivor. Not content to let people lie back and absolve themselves of responsibility for their violence, whatever their ideology may tell them, eh?

I love this - let the devil have his day. Time eventually shakes good from bad and all will find its natural place ...in time. Unique perspective Ivor and fantastic imagery.

Namaste,

As one Ivor to another I had to read this. An odd little story but well presented. Armageddon the final battle betweeen good and evil.is fought daily within our own minds. We alone are responsiblr for our actions
