You're A Kid

You're A Kid

A Poem by coma black☯

Everyone else has moved on.
The girls threw out their dolls
and toys and the boys threw out
their action figures and little toy
cars.
The girls f**k with the boys,
the boys f**k with the girls.
That's how it is now.
I see you and I see how
you pretend to act like
the other boys.
You try to act tough,
you try to act like you don't give a f**k.
But you're different.
You don't want me like the other boys do.
You actually...care.
But it's time to grow up.
It's time to throw away your toys.
We can still be friends.
I just can't ever love you.
