Silent Surf

Written by Jack Ivey

Lonely beach, solitude

Constant waves a ‘white with foam

Empty beach, peacefulness

As I wander all alone

Time to think, ponder

Rest atop the pristine sand

Secluded shore, solace

The world awaiting my command

Tranquil days, calming

Pressures of my life are few

Ocean breeze, waters

Thy silent surf each day is new

Exactly what I need at the moment, tranquility of a lonely beach! Awesome words and beautiful pastel :)

One of the best times to read , ponder , imagine is when we are by the beautiful beach where the soft breeze kissing our faces and our love is in mystery of our emotions.
Your silent surf is crashing on her shore Jack for you are sending her the messages of your heart...A great write...:)

Any time . A pleasure...:)
I think I've done exactly that on that beach. First you swoon me with butterflies, than dance, now the sea, is there end to your cunning? My heart belongs to you Jack, love this meditative piece of work, so soothing.

Thanks Frieda, I had a feeling you had been there before.
And that's what a poet does, and need, to be now and then alone, so these words written after can be really felt for the reader, and most important to your inner soul.

A fantastic piece of three stanza's with exactly the needed thing to say.
It's timeless... thank you Jack.
