One Wish

I had one wish,
i wished for you.
Never in my dreams
would it come true.
But here I stand,
forever by your side.
Everyday I think of you,
what would happen,
if wishes never came true?
Sad it would be,
alone i would feel,
but thats not how it is.
But the seasons change,
and through years we grow old,
someday our sun will set,
and our bodies fade away,
but our spirirts will linger
together a whole new day.
