The Dream

Im writing this because I have a knot in my throat and I cant speak

I wish you can see the motionlees tear that is rolling down my cheek

Then maybe you can understand what is is you do to me

I longed for your touch, the taste of your soft lips,the feel of your smooth skin

I know once the feelings come back , then the pain also begin

Holding hands and walking on the beach in the dark

Seeing  yours and my initials ,and the word forever in that tree bark

That dream meant so much to me ,it was all I had , the only thing there

I mean you gave me your word, I thought you actually cared

Now you have me breathing through a straw and gasping for air

Trying to breath a breathe of  life  back into a dream , that just isnt there

Because I know true Love knows no bound,

I guess thats why the love I have for you still stays around

But I cant be torn between my heart and mind anymore,

Its like  your love is a crime,and Im your prisoner of war

Sometimes relationships are like glass, it's better to leave them broken

Than try to hurt yourself putting it back together again

I love you ,and my only hope is to wait and see
