I need to tell you this , even though you should already know.

I never meant to drop it , I didnt mean to let it go

I tried to reach for it before it hit the ground

It shattered in a thousand peices , Ill never forget the sound

Afterwards I could barely stand on my own 2  feet

So I fell to my knees and started to weep

I'm so confused, where do I begin ? How do I start?

Can someone please tell me how to peice together a broken heart.

But I never asked for your heart, you just gave it to me

I never wanted that responsibilty , I wanted to be free

Maybe I should of listened when you told how to care for a heart

And maybe you wouldnt be reading this poem ,and we wouldnt be apart

I try everyday to think of things to mend your heart and make it right

Day in ,day out, and morning ,noon and night

But nothing seems to work ,nothing seems to make you budge

I guess thats how a woman acts when she has fallen out of love.........
