at least we have this

today felt like waiting
most days do now
although,
you never know exactly what it is
you’re waiting for
and there’s the
creeping doubt, that you don’t really deserve it, anyways
and then the timely realization,
that we never get what we deserve
we just get what we get
I’m going to keep waiting,
I know it’s coming
