Prey

Prey

A Poem by James
"

Be mindful of who you guides you through the apocalypse

"

Air crisp in the morning

Segregates turmoil, hidden in conflict of what may

Be one’s curse.

Hearing the screams distant but intimate to sensitive ears.

Awake the survivors and close your soul.

It’s desperation, survival, migrating towards one’s hopes.

I have been writing stories since I was a young child, conjuring creatures in dirty western towns and lost children without names. I call myself a creator of monsters but I will admit that there is n.. more..
