Save My Soul

I want to be somebody new..

                                   
                  
            

 This is the world where I am
 Where I've been trying to escape
 Surrounded with nuisance of violence
 Where I never had a piece of peace.
 Pull me up from this empty darkness
 Lord, light my way as I carry my yoke
 Pour a drop of your mercy on me
 To quench my thirsty soul with hope.

 Uncover me from the mud of envy
 And clothe me in sympathy and care,
 Let the rain of Your graces pour down
 To kill the blaze of selfishness and anger.
 Lord, lead me out from this void
 Of endless fear and hopelessness
 Embrace me with Your glorious spirit
 To strengthen my courage and faith.

 Then as I follow Your path
 Let the butterflies sing for me
 And when I dropped my load of hatred
 Make the stars twinkle in the day.
 Let me paint the colors of the sunset
 As I rejoice, oh Lord
 For You have opened the door for me
 Into Your bright loving world.
