The Melachonious

The Melachonious

A Poem by janwantstobfree

         Oh why does nobody care,
oh why does nobody hug me?
Maybe if I they found me dead with a knife sticking straight in my heart, maybe they would care. Maybe if they found me dead, buried in a box twelve feet deep in the Earth, maybe they would care.
My boyfriend tells me he loves me, but then the next day I find him sitting with another girl. My boyfriend tells me love me, but he beats me so hard, I have to cover my face.
A new boy tells me I'm beautiful and I start to cry.
A new boy tells me I'm beautiful, and I start to smile.
