To Be With You

To Be With You

A Poem by Jarred Sutton

Tomorrow, it comes so fast.
Today is done at last.
Clerk at the store has passed -
Christmas ghost of Christmas past.
Both were fun, but not a blast.
I can't wait to be with you.

Fear, he's being a hopeless romantic.
Why does love seem so frantic?
Sadness is still up to his same old antics.
And courage asks if it can it -
Come through the door with his great fanatics,
So I can be with you.

She giggles at my spoken word,
She really is my only world.
Underrated yellow backpack -
And her hair is never curled.
But I'm a hopeful romantic.
Watching the sky be kissed by birds -
While dreaming to be with you.

And to yesterday, I'm sorry but I've cheated on you.
It was tomorrow's born seduction,
And three weeks of recreational reduction -
Four weeks from head to toe.
And I know I want to be with you.

Really like these lines. And as far as I guess, the narrator once cheated on the person he loves, but he just couldn't get over the love for her. Noce writing.
