What if

What if

A Poem by Jasmin Vieira
"

What if everything you wished for came true? What if you wished for death?

"
What if the shy girl that always sat next you sat on the hill that night.
Above her the painted sky, oranges almost red and the pink vibrant.
She blew the fluffy wish flower seeds away. Her wish,
for her heart to finally stop.
For the pain to end. What if her wish came true.
Her last dying breath was used to whisper ”i don't want to go.”
Why do we all want something so bad but when it's presented to us,
we miss what we had.

The girl’s life, like that day, ending, dusk but, colors represent beauty in life’s last stage. She is suffering , the pain emotional or physical is to much. Her choice, seems right but, when done regrettable. Very, very descriptive of what one can only imagine. Gifted writer. Fine work.
