Ah, the messenger of Odin,

Whose quote “Nevermore” afflicts Poe,

I resent such a false omen

For your presence bears me no woe

Although you feather are shabby,

Black as melancholia’s bile,

And eyes as fruitful as Dead Sea

My fondness not by sympathy,

This is very elegant, is that watercolor it's very nice. Don't take this the wrong way but it reminds me of some of marilyn mansons paintings. You are an artist of many talents aren't you. I will say some of this piece was lost on me but I know I am not great at deciphering gods and such meanings they might be used in. This is very beautiful and dark at the same time. Thank you for sharing it.

Thank you. I attempted to paint Marilyn Manson with that painting. I was listening to his album with the watercolor on top and figured I would try painting. I don't paint as often anymore though. I should get back into it. Odin was a Greek god with two ravens as messengers. They sort of spied on all the evil in the world, i believe. Anyways, thanks

I am not easily disturbed, but I don't listen to Manson much. I prefer Billy Joel and P!nk, to whom I have the biggest crush. The only music that puts me on edge really would be Emilie Autumn's. Anyways, obscenity, fear, and trauma invoke creativity in me.

Have you looked at Christopher G. S. hes got a sick one, I couldn't finish it. if your in to that then that might be a place to start. it was something called Jigsaw I think. won't go back to it to get the title.

I wrote this in my biology class while watching a documentary on birds, and the raven had such a negative demeanor i thought i would relate it to a real life situation. There are many girls today who dress gothic and view themselves as ugly or worthless, I believe that they are beautiful and I relate to them with personal struggles.
