Lovely Loved Lover's Wings

Lovely Loved Lover's Wings

A Poem by Kenneth Stephen Goodpaster

I shed you my skin my dear loved lover

As you bury your toes deep within me

While gazing away from undercover

For one to shed and shed and shed and flee.

Give me your filthy little black crow wings.

Let me bestow you my clean angel wings.

I'll tell you what a true loved lover brings

Which is not what I hear or that he sings.
