Puddle Splash

Puddle Splash

A Poem by Kenneth Stephen Goodpaster

Puddle Splash

A leap into the puddle by the walk

To splish-splash the water around my feet,

But sometimes soaking the bottom of my sock

And scraping my ankle on the concrete.

Although it irks me so, I must admit

Of how the splash is completely worth it.
