The Christmas Party

A reflection on the Christmas party, I attended this afternoon. A departure from my darker work. -Jay Steitler

Tis the season; 

the reason for celebrating with true friends,

who'd never abandon. 

Holiday cheer, and food galore!

The scent of Christmas beckons,

to good times and more.

Music in the background, and hounds

at my feet,

All present, content to be in from

the chilled street. 

Wrapped in love 

and warmth of the stay.

It certainly topped

a glorious day!

Yeah, it was a great time. Known most of them since my "kiddie sandbox" days. Magical couple of hrs, spent in my hometown yesterday!

I never used to be a big fan of Christmas but now i'm older and i have extended family,for kids,it's a great day.
