Nothing

Nothing

A Poem by Jayde Purdy
"

Nothing, my dear, Nothing

"

Nothing

The opposite of something

My dear

What do we hear

Silence

Silence

What is that

Oh that is just nothing

My dear

Now we hear something

Click

Click

Click

Yes

Yes

Lock that door

Grab that razor

That lighter

Salvation

See my dear

However you do you may find salvation

Drop

Drop

Drop

Drop

You prefer the razor

As you wish

What is that

YELL

YELL

YELL

YELL

Is that your daddy again darling

Yes

Yes

Let him enter

He wants to beat you

Let him

Your going to heaven soon anyways

Get a little hell

My dear why are you crying

Use that razor that you have

It will bring happiness

What is that you see

My dear it is life

Pills

Light as day

Dark as night

What is that you see

My dear it is life

Whiskey

Jack Daniels to be precise

A gold like color my dear

Mix all three dear

Why look at you

You have done it

Don't worry about your father

He can't come in

He is far away

He cannot find you

BANG

BANG

BANG

Ignore him my dear

Swallow those pills

Drown them with whiskey

Swallow

Swallow

Good

Cut quickly my dear

Cut deep

Good

Good

Now rest my dear
