Glass

Glass

A Poem by Jacquelene Vanessa Moreno

Falling down a hill so high
I see the world passing me by
Like a china doll behind glass
Eyes painted
A chipped smile
I’m blinded by the worlds turmoil.

This sooooooooooo reminded me of the emotions felt at different times as I cam back to places that were no longer the same from when I left.

Small poem with a lot of meaning. Illustrates with excellent imagery (especially the chipped smile) the difficulties of living in these times. Well done.
