Grandma's Boy

based on a true story

His curly black hair accents his big dark brown eyes.  He is an innocent 7 years old.  He gets into a little mischief sometimes and recently he did something that tickled me so.  I live 4 states away from him so I was on the phone when he got into a spot of trouble. 

I heard through the phone his mother tell his dad that he told his other grandma "Be Quiet".   Considering that I had thought to tell her the same thing myself  I began giggling....

My grandson heard this over the phone and a sweet little grin came across his face so I was told.  I surmise he thought he was off the hook since I,  his other grandma thought it was adorable.  But that was retified when his fathers voice told me, "Mom you are not helping."  His dad expressed his thoughts regarding the incident.  "I know your grandma is a chore but you can not talk to her that way.  Now go to bed."  Gotta love Grandkids.  Spoil them and send them home.
