Spring Within

Spring Within

A Poem by Jennifer Parde
"

This poem "came" to me at a time when I need it, and for all intents and purposes, it wrote itself. I am grateful for that experience, and also for the fact that has touched other people since.

"

This childish mind--
    this mind that startles

    and shakes in the night--
rock it to sleep with prayers and a lullaby.

These waves of emotion--
this dance between fear and doubt--
know that it is only an expression
of your longing for God.

Listen!
You can't grab the truth and clench it in your fist!

So. . .
Trust and relax.
Open and love.
Breathe
and feel the blossom of a perpetual spring
blooming within you.

I sure like this, it is well written.
Relax and trust.
Open and love.
Breathe. . .
and feel the blossom of a perpetual spring
blooming within you.

That is nice!

Peace
