Iodine Sky

It’s not often I do this..

It’s not often I get to do this.

It’s not often the sky looks so f*****g peaceful.

Like so much is going on under it,

And it doesn’t mind.

Vast oceans and

the quietest deserts.

And I’m under it..

And it does not change.

I found this title attractive because iodine has a medicinal application as does gazing at the sky at times. Iodine also possesses a contrary color that implies significant power. Your poem has an element of that as well. You grabbed my attention and took it for a spin.
