a dark an gloomy smoked filled room that is spinning out of thought

Then think of a chain

Then try to break it

 

This is an old poem

Written in an old room

 

Upstairs sleeps Maria 

Behind a white door

 

Dreaming in another world

All I did was to invent another world

 

Anyway I told you this was an old poem

Written in an old room

 

And having heard it 

Don’t blame me if you are now

Feeling bored with an old friend 

Who thinks nothing of telling you so?
