Enamouring Fire

Enamouring Fire

A Poem by jeRRy.whaLLey
"

Mystic plain-speak

"

To kiss the beloved with the same
kiss the beloved kisses me
and within that kiss live in eternity --

The Soul speaks in silences
only a willing Heart can hear,
an ancient ache of longing,
this heart, a compass, taking me where,
Love is the goal, I'll meet you there ...

The voice which talks cannot have your heart
nor can you hear that uncommonest of tongues
-- as the language of the Soul is silence --
yet you shall know when you're unspoken
you shall feel it divine
Peace is that wordless cry --

as the language of the Soul is silence --
yet you shall know when you're unspoken

I have missed you! This was an outstanding write. Beautiful expressed with in depth meaning and speaks wisdom as you usually do. My favorite stanza and I think it says it all is,

The voice which talks cannot have your heart
nor can you hear that uncommonest of tongues
-- as the language of the Soul is silence --
yet you shall know when you're unspoken
you shall feel it divine
Peace is that wordless cry --

Great piece and written with great feeling!

your words hold meaning of magnitude** this piece definitely reaches in to the depths of ones soul..mine anyways;) in regards to a quite personal ache, I most certainly couldn't of spoken of this with such precision** you write so well of the beautifully portrayed truths of such a wonderful silence;)
I'd felt an ache reading this..but overwhelmingly divine;p
thanks-

What a glorious poem and description of the divine essence of love and the glory of being at one with oneself as well as another making the most complete whole there is. This is simply gorgeous :)

Such a beautiful poem. It's honestly true that "the soul is silence -- yet you shall know when you're unspoken, you shall feel it divine. Peace is that wordless cry --". Beautiful.

How beautiful, there is a touching elegance to silence and the unspoken - there is the knowing of one to another...well written, succinct and intriquing. Thanks for sharing.
