my Muse

my Muse

A Poem by jeRRy.whaLLey
"

took photo of the full Moon behind a glass sculpture of an angel

"

sHe is a Daemon

flickering between each eye
with the shimmer on a flowers petals
like diamonds of light -

sHe is an Angel

beating wings tipped in tears and laughter
coming between a heart beat
         and intense disinterest
always flirting with Dreams -

sHe stumbles

upon Worldly Words
but has a didactic memory when

sHe sings -

often sHe is aMusing me
as much as I am aMused by sHe -

  sHe speaks

in tongues in my inner ear
while smiling at me for l o s i n g my train of thought -

sHe is fickle and measures the shape of my heart
with how much awe I've beat it with today -

Author's Note

jeRRy.whaLLey
there are natural inducements to wonder where we are like birdys too, not needing to be believed but sing out our hearts and that's what it is in the end - getting out of the way of reasonable doubt and letting the words sing out - our tears would be as an elixir to the worms underfoot - they would wriggle their happy wonder at this precipitous and lonely liquid, writhing about in joyous misery what our tears did -

There is an interesting structure to this and I like the way you use capitials for the she/he.
