The Feelings that keep coming

About the feelings of past that keep coming back holding on to the songs and emotions heard and felt.

They keep coming back,
Those feelings that were with me in the past,
They come, but they cannot bring back those situations with them.
So, they aren't welcome, no not without the truth.

They take help of the words,
The songs and the tunes.
Why do you come without her?
What do i do with you without her?

The same feelings that once bought peaceful joy,
Now bring depression and emptiness.
I am thirsty, but you cannot bring me water without a container!
You cannot quench my thirst but would drench me wet.

But i still want to listen to the songs,
and hear the tunes that would bring back the feelings.
Though it would result in pain,
My thirst would remain but,

This poor soul is now satisfied with just feelings.
