Double Image

Double Image

A Poem by jen -- JG
"

There are two sides to everything --------------

"

Double Image.

Strands of golden hair

In joyous abandon dance

Touched by gentle breeze

Blossoms fall,

Drifting snow petals

Cover silent form below.

Lonely figure stands.

In splintered moonlight

Heart ---shattered as the ledge

Haunting echo ----------

Dancing waves embrace

Bloodied shadow far below.

The far horizons split

In rain kissed verdant glory

Where knife edged mountains meet.

Windswept bones

Glow like a stark white apparition

On the desert, far below.

I love the duality here in which the joyous sunshine gives way to bloodied shadows and splintered moonlight, etc. It really shows that Mother Nature has its dark and light sides. I loved the "Where kinfe edged mountains meet" and "splintered moonlight". Really terrific!
