LightPlenty

LightPlenty

A Story by jennajot

It is a quiet day in the city of Lightplenty. There are people hiding as there naturally is in any town. The faces are curious and embarrassed simultaneously and stray cats can be seen in the back alleyways. Ellen is happy that this day has arrived. It is New Years Eve Day. Which all folk know is a special day-a very special day.

Or special needs that is. A tongue lolling girl named Hohanna laughs and drools into the open arms of the wheelchair. She is quite a sight. The only disabled labeled individual in the entire city.

Lora notices the coffee is bright pink at the table and wonders why this is so. “Ask Ellen” says Leese from the kitchen.

It is then that the rain that has been beginning to pour subsides and a double rainbow encapsles the city. Byron laughs and says “wakes me up for real’, and Bryan laughs while reading yet another book and flipping the page.

A Lauron James enters the scene. “Ha!I’’m older than you” the girl cheerily taunts the oncoming Solusaurus rex.
