GROWING UP

GROWING UP

A Poem by jessand jason
"

i wrote this for my little sister when she graduated high school.

"

Your getting older and becoming your own.

Yet to come are so many more milestones.

I'll always be here when you need me.

I promise to be.

Just the other day you were a little blonde haired girl.

Having gone to prom and parties with your hair up in curls.

Your graduating high school thats such an accomplishment.

I don't understand where all the years have went.

Growing up ,staring you own life.

One day I'll watch you marry and becomes someones wife.

I wish you the best lil sis in all that you do.

Please just remember to always be you.

Hold your dreams and memories close to your heart.

Once out of high school,it's a completely new start.

Just finding out your a mother to be.

Keep your head held high, it will be alright you'll see.

I hope you accomplish all your hopes and dreams.

Far away, yes i know it seems.

I will give you my hand to help you through.

Lil sis I am walking in that shoe.

Growing up, yes its a scary feeling.

When you feel weak find yourself somewhere kneeling.

There are still many hard times yet to come.

Please sis, remember who we came from.
