Temptation

Temptation

"

Standing in front of you, motionless.

We mustn't speak of the tension filling the space between us.

You move closer as you stare deeply into my eyes.

I am unreadable, you are unreadable,

Yet this chemistry could not be mistaken.

If you only knew how lost I am in you.

But I am no longer submissive in this game that we play.

You're so bad for me, as am I for you.

But if the game is played right, that will change.

The closer and closer you get, the tighter the tension becomes.

Every word you say gets heavier and heavier.

The temptation gets harder and harder to resist as your hand meets my arm,

And with one look into your eyes, you've consumed me.
