Where am I

Where am I

"
I don't know who you are,
but I'm following you.
I don't know where I am
and neither do you.
Everyone's asleep
but we're still awake.
We're up watching lights
go off through window panes.
As your gaze wanders on,
my eyes are on you.
I guess I'm blinded by the lights
cause you were watching me too.
Must be hypnotized by the city,
the water and the skyline.
And as you're swimming in circles
I become paralyzed.
Well, I could drown.
I could drown if you wanted me to,
but I don't have to.
