Am I awake?

Lucid Dreaming

I was awake one night but I'm sure I was asleep

caught up in the middle with my thoughts running deep

My heart was racing or atleast so it seemed

Am I awake? or is this a dream?

Paralized from moving but yet totally aware,

Will anyone help me? or does anyone care?

If I'am dreaming someone wake me from this scene

and if I'am already awake then I know it's not a dream

If I close my eyes before you and I seem a bit away

Please keep an eye watching to make sure I'm ok

If I seem distressed or troubled and start to move about

Then rest assure that I'am dreaming

Dreaming without a doubt

How do you define being stuck in between?

Not awake, but not asleep

Is this for real? or is it a dream?

I hope I can always awake in time of dispair

Or hear an alarming noise to make me aware...

Make me here or there, not stuck in between

Just take me away out of this awful scene thats so surreal,

Wait! Is it a dream?
