After the realization

After the realization

A Poem by Lady Lazarus.

 Blossoms burst

stain the bark with blood that feeds its growing roots

existant trees come and go

A place we meet one day in snow

Noses crimson and our passions lazy

A deep regret in a place out of reach....

Fatique that sleeps just tempts

a dry acceptance on my tongue

I've outlived myself

I exist

sometimes the nausea is the fact you can't just find your place
It stays in your centre and causes a war you can't pacify

The rain soaks your breast bone but you're too numb to notice
so you start to shiver all over and wish you were one of the raindrops so atleast you could together

Fatique that sleeps just tempts

a dry acceptance on my tongue

I've outlived myself

I exist

Precipitation stains light beaten elbows

scared and young though imperfect

Its alive like once before

Gathered we feel once more...

.

This is obviously, in my eyes, a pure work of art.
I am not much of a poet, never claimed to be in fact I flunked poetry.
But I do enjoy reading good s**t whenever the chance arises. But this piece reminds
me slightly of an event that happened to me last year, don't ask why. Anyways, I'm rambling
(Eh, it's 6 in the morning give me a break..) Anywayyyyy, 11 out of 10.

Good Job.

This is, quite simply, amazing and breathtaking. There is so much s**t published it makes me want to lose faith in the industry. Then I read pieces like this (or any other piece you've written) and I wonder how in the world you aren't published yet. This is lyrical, solemn and somber but beautiful.
Most importantly it strikes a chord in the reader. I know this voice and those emotions. Reading it brings it back, fresh and acrid in my mouth and yet your words remain beautiful.

Fatique that sleeps just tempts
a dry acceptance on my tongue
I've outlived myself
I exist

This is amaizng. Well Done.

this leads me to many thoughts some vague, some memories
and one clear:
that is is sad to learn someone you love is not capable of feeling love.

an intriguing write

This was so stunning. Sad, yet at the same time there was a kind of peace to it. You piece words together in such a unique way, it's gorgeous.

"Fatique that sleeps just tempts

I've outlived myself
I exist"
A beautiful refrain and a familiar feeling
goes with your name though doesn't it :)
