a lonely sun shines on unthankful heads...

a lonely sun shines on unthankful heads...

A Poem by Lady Lazarus.

 looked at the reflection

pitied what you saw

age makes us wiser

but less charming

a lonely sun

shines on unthankful heads

the dirt has blossomed

into seeds I could plant

Though I hesitate from fear

I feed the scavanger again

a lonely sun

shines on unthankful heads

recollection of loves

weighs deep on your mind

Dismissal spurns passion

a hostile pawn

a lonely sun

shines on unthankful heads

smolder ignorant

A life you could live.
